A primary bath with good bones, a freestanding tub and a rare bank of windows onto mature trees, but nothing pulling it together. It needed to read as a retreat, not just a fixture.

A primary bath built around a freestanding soaking tub, sage-green walls, and a bank of windows onto the trees, styled down to the bath caddy and the orchid on the shelf.

The approach
Let the windows and the tub do the work. Sage-green walls keep the room calm against all that green outside, a wood bath caddy and a ladder shelf of rolled towels add warmth, and a small styled shelf, orchid, frames, a clock, keeps the corner from feeling clinical.
The outcome
A bath that earns a long soak in any season, morning light or evening.
