A dining room built around a faux stone feature wall and a mixed-metal palette offers a conversation piece and sets this semi-custom home apart.

The approach
Built the room around a stone feature wall, then incorporated mixed metals so they read as a considered family rather than a mismatch. Round upholstered chairs softened all the hard surfaces.
The outcome
A dining room with a center of gravity, the room you linger in after the plates are cleared.
