The brief

A spare room doing duty as an office that felt like neither. The homeowner wanted somewhere that supported a full workday without feeling like a cubicle.

The approach

Grounded the room in greenery and warm wood, then added just enough brass to keep it from going soft. Storage stayed open and styled so the room reads as a study, not a supply closet.

The outcome

A workspace that earns the whole day, calm, green, and genuinely yours by 9am.

The arched window wall: snake plants on hairpin stands, the leather pouf, and the armchair under the floor lamp.
The desk head on against the olive wall, open shelving either side of the framed botanical print.
The office through the transom doorway, the live-edge desk and shelving framed by the opening.
The desk in warm light, styled but workable.
Greenery cascading over open shelving by the window.
