The brief
A garden-level unit going up for lease that read as a basement in photos, low light, bare carpet, builder-grade kitchen, zero sense of how anyone would actually live there. The goal was simple: make the listing photos earn showings.
DESigned entire two bedroom rental with a $6k furnishing budget! A bare garden-level apartment turned warm, light-handling rental showcase, sage accent walls, a butcher-block island, leather and bouclé doing the talking.

The brief
A garden-level unit going up for lease that read as a basement in photos, low light, bare carpet, builder-grade kitchen, zero sense of how anyone would actually live there. The goal was simple: make the listing photos earn showings.
The approach
Leaned into warmth instead of fighting the low light. A sage accent wall and brass fixtures gave the open room a center; a black butcher-block island defined kitchen from living without a wall. Tan leather and cream bouclé kept everything soft, photogenic, and gender-neutral.
The outcome
Every room now has an obvious purpose and a focal point, living, dining, sleeping, and a small work nook, staged so a renter can picture the whole life, not just the square footage.
The staged home
7 rooms
