An expectant family wanted a baby shower that felt like the start of a journey, warm, wanderlust, a little wild, without tipping into a literal jungle theme.

A travel-and-safari baby shower styled end to end, organic balloon garlands in sage, sand, and clay, a vintage settee lounge, grazing tables, and a world-map cake, hosted inside an Indianapolis pastry shop.

The approach
Built organic balloon installations in sage, sand, and clay with trailing greenery and dried botanicals, then layered a vintage damask settee, brass lanterns, and persian rugs underneath for a lived-in lounge. Travel cues stayed subtle: a world-map cake, compass-and-map favor boxes, and 'Adventure Awaits' in gold script.
The outcome
Lounge, grazing tables, dessert, and a guestbook station all tied to one palette, a shower that read as an adventure from the entrance arch to the diaper cake.
